Grateful

I keep meaning to say THANK YOU, THANK YOU to everyone who donated to the Jackie Malena Treatment Fund. (I will be sending out "real" thank-yous soon, I promise!) Jackie is a 32-year-old mother of two from Kansas City who is fighting a rare form of cancer. I headed up a donation drive through the MOMS Club, and we were able to donate nearly $800 to Jackie's fund. We also gave two boxes filled with little gifts to Jackie's two daughters and convinced Wal-Mart to donate some gift cards to the family. I'm so happy we were able to raise so much, and I appreciate the hard work of everyone who helped out. I'm technically "in charge" of the MOMS Club service projects, but I feel like I didn't do a whole lot. Even little Tom (remember little Tom, WCK's future husband?) sent in $5. We love Tom.

If you haven't had a chance to donate yet, you can visit Jackie's web site and find out how to send in a donation on your own: http://www.fightforjackie.net. Every little bit can help!

Hi, I am so excited to read your story. I am a 33 year old stay at home mom. I have a 4yr old and 6yr old girl. I was just diagnosed with MM stage 3 five weeks ago. I just recieved a computer today and I'm on the internet super highway. I have a site on the caring bridge my name is Stacy Rohrer. I don't even know how to email yet. I just find it very refreshing to hear of a vibrant young woman like myself going through the same thing. May God Bless you and your family.

Hey Cancer Girl! I am the best friend of the "stacy" that posted the prior comment. Reading through your page I am amaized at all the simularities your and stacy's stories have. Not to mention, I am also the kind of friend that would knit a Jabba and send him via the US postal service. Please when you have time check out Stacy's caringbridge site (stacyrohrer). Your positive vibe, wisdom, and frog-like characteristics will not go unappreciated!! Much smiles! Your friend, of a friend, of a friend -Missy

I am glad to read this Blog- The very name cancer is scary to us. Since no cure for this, any one will fear. Even me too. This is a nice blog- But I am looking for more updates with more information. Cancer can make people invalid. I know that it can kill your health but never the will. Your heart will beat for the untold melody of life. I have found an info guide that deals with the Cure of Cancer through holistic treatment. It may be good if you really need a cure to save life. Yu can have that free guide from following URL http://www.helpcure.com/cancer
I request all to gather/ find more and better information about cancers and create blogs as well as blog posts to make us know further. You know many of us need better information. Even me too.
Have a nice day
