Knit wit

I'm learning how to knit, and it turns out that knitting is REALLY HARD. My friend Abigail is an extreeeeeeeemely patient knitting teacher, which is good, because I am the Forrest Gump of the knitting world. It took me two hours to make this:

Jay was extremely supportive and said that it could be a blanket for an earthworm. If any of you come across a chilly earthworm, let me know, and I'll send the blanket right out.

That looks a ton better than my first attempt at knitting. They make it look so easy!!

That would be one warm earthworm. Before you know it you'll be moving on to centipede and snake blankets...

I know it's been a while since you posted this, but I just discovered your blog. I'm a knitter who was diagnosed with MM in June of '06, also way too young, (but who isn't?).

I hope you stick with the knitting. It's helped me get through every other life crisis, and it's great for when you have to wait... in medicine that means always! In my opinion socks are the best, especially for beginners. They travel well and you can wear all but your worst mistakes!
