One more thing

If you ever visit the Mayo Clinic, be sure to visit the Patient Education Center. It has a wall display of all kinds of weird things that have been x-rayed, including a bat, a mummy, and a snake that swallowed two light bulbs.

Now, I can understand a near-sighted snake maybe swallowing one light bulb, but I would think he'd pause for a moment: "There was something ... different about the mouse I just ate . It was ... much more ... glassy-tasting than usual."

Maybe he just said...

"I need an really good idea, no two really good ideas."

And he did. For lunch...

That snake just wasn't very bright before he ate them. But afterwards... um, never mind.

Hi Karen,

Where did you stay at Mayo...the Kahler? We stay there if we're there more than two nights. Lately we have been staying at the Hampton Inn. Wireless internet and HBO. Richard gets his blood drawn at St. Mary's the night before, then we see the doc next day and leave right after. We're off for there tomorrow.

Your news could have been better, but could be a lot worse. Hopefully you'll stay stable!
